Our priority is to ensure that your statutory Health & Safety and Workplace Safety requirements are implemented correctly, and also to the satisfaction of your Insurance Provider, with regard to public, employee, and personal indemnities.   These regulations affect everyone in every business, be it retail, wholesale, landlord, artiste, office, club, shop,building site, or working from home. 

If a portable appliance is involved, it must be certified to be safe by being tested at regular intervals.

Today, more than ever, Insurance companies refuse claims, where traceable to portable appliances, if the firm (even a single self-employed person) can not provide the required documentation which proves compliance with the safety regulations.

* Inspection and tesing of all your portable electrical appliances in accordance with IEE regulations BS 7671. 

* Visual inspections, and earth continuity, earth leakage, polarity, and fuse rating of all appliances and leads.

* Labelling and identifying of each individual asset with a unique number, traceable to the assett listing, and indicating the test result, date of test, and retest of each assett.

* Providing a numbered certificate of Electrical Safety traceable back to each asset and the assest listing.

* Rectification of minor faults in cabling, fuses, plug tops etc. with free retesting.

* Basic and earth loop testing of local plug socket outlets, and any local current protection devices (eg RCD).

FINALLY - JUST SO YOU KNOW

If you hire a Disc Jockey or Artiste, who will be taking equipment onto a premises - BEWARE ! - Please check that the person, or firm, has the relevant certificates for their equipment.   BECAUSE  -  if the documentation and appliance labelling are not up to date and legal,

1.  The person will probably be refused admittance to the premises, so your celebration party may not go as planned.             

2.  You may be held liable in part for any accident, fire, damage etc, caused by that person's equipment.
